The 11″ Flying Witch is a modern evolution of a classic DeLong design—rebuilt from the ground up using direct input from some of the most respected anglers and guides in the musky world.
They wanted a bait that:
moves differently than other rubber baits
is easy to fish once learned
uses treble hooks
works any time of year

Most big rubber baits rely on fluttering tails to create action. The Flying Witch is different. Its weighted head causes the entire bait to move up and down through the water column, creating a fast dive followed by a wide, dying fall.
With more anglers throwing similar rubber profiles, the Flying Witch and Giant Witch give muskies a look they don’t see every day—often the difference between follows and strikes.
The Flying Witch shines with a pull-pause retrieve:
Make long pulls with the rod
Follow each pull with a long pause
Let the bait fall to the side, mimicking something dying
If worked too fast, the bait can roll—this is where the new hitch-hiker screw system comes in. Adding a tail increases stability and adds subtle movement on the fall, making the bait easier to control and even more effective.
This bait takes a little practice, but once mastered, it becomes a deadly tool for triggering big muskies.
