Musky / Pike / KILR EELS

The 8" KILR EEL, 13" KILR EEL, Giant Witch, and Flying Witch are soft-plastic jerkbaits for big Musky and Pike. They are rigged with Mustad hooks, joined by 100 lb test flexible wire. Our manufacturing process is designed to make our internal hook rig bond to our soft but tough plastic. What does this mean....frankly it means that these are not one fish lures, they will hold up to multiple big fish catches.

How to use: Our lures do sink, but slowly. So you are mostly going to be using them just below the surface to a depth of about 5 to 6 feet depending on the speed of your retrieve.

Cast them out , let them settle for a couple seconds. Then with your rod tip pointing toward the water, jerk or snap your rod downward while reeling your slack. And just repeat. These lures will dart in every direction, they will roll upside down and side to side. They are supposed to do this to mimic a dying prey fish. So just jerk and snap them, you can do this fast or slow, there really is no wrong way to use these lures other than reeling them straight in.
