DeLong Lure Mfg. was started in 1946 by David DeLong. DeLong was the very first company to ever design and sell a soft-plastic fishing lure (our KILR Worm). DeLong is also the very first company to ever put scent into a fishing lure (anise oil), which is molded right into the plastic of ALL of our lures. Although DeLong is most well known for it Bass fishing lures, we also make lures designed to catch: Panfish, Bluegill, Crappie, Musky , Pike, Cobia, Stiped Bass, Rockfish, Bluefish, Redfish, Walleye, and many more!
